About me

My name is Olof Naessén and I'm a programmer living in Malmö Sweden. As most programmers born in Sweden in the 80s, I started off with the Commodore 64 and slowly moved from Basic to C and C++.

During day I'm a lead engineer at Sharkmob working with AAA games and Unreal Engine, but during night and in my spare time I'm mostly into making indie games for PC and programming for old machines, such as C64, NES and SNES.

I suppose after working many years professionally with C/C++ in the game industry on huge AAA titles, I find myself more drawn towards assembly and working with machines I loved as a kid, to fulfill my old childhood dreams.
